David Hobbs, Welchman Pierpoint
Presentation: Deep or Shallow Multilingual?
David Hobbs is a Senior Consultant at Welchman Pierpoint. David uses his extensive experience in managing the conception, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of complex Content Management System (CMS)-driven websites to assist clients in all aspects of Web Operations Management (PDF), including analysis of existing operational and technical processes and the development of strategic roadmaps. For over ten years, David has been coordinating local, national, and international teams to conceive, design and implement complex Internet systems and websites.
Prior to joining Welchman Pierpoint, David served as product manager for the World Bank’s content publishing system, used to publish hundreds of thousands of pieces of content for more than 1,000 World Bank websites in over twenty languages. He wrote the requirements for the multilingual functionality of the World Bank’s custom CMS. Previously, he was CTO of a small web design and strategy company.
